We are thrilled to say that we reached our target during the Big Give Christmas Challenge, raising £11,290 for our small charity. We want to thank each and every one of you who donated or shared our campaign. Your support has made a huge difference to the lives of some of the elephants we treat at our Veterinary Centre and mobile clinic, so thank you.

The match funding campaign is a fantastic opportunity to make twice the impact, and we are very grateful to have been given the opportunity to take part again this year, and are of course overjoyed to have met our target. We must also thank those who provided a pledge, and The Reed Foundation for being our Champion supporter. Both of these enabled us to double all your donations and make double the difference to the lives of endangered elephants in Southern Thailand.

The Purchase of Medical Supplies
As always, the STEF Veterinary Centre needs a constant supply of up to date and high quality medical supplies to treat our elephant patients, whatever symptoms they present. Your support will help us ensure our supplies are well stocked, so every elephant gets the best care we can provide them.
Funding a Mechanically Operated Hoist
Often patients require support to help them stand whilst they are being treated by our Vets. We currently have one hoist within our intensive care area, but we really need a mechanically operated hoist, which does not need for a power supply.
Fund Laser Therapy
Many patients are admitted to the STEF Veterinary Centre with non-healing skin wounds. We would love to be able to use targeted laser therapy to help stimulate damaged tissues into healing. Your support would contribute towards the purchase of laser therapy, which will reduce an elephants suffering as well as the length of time they need to stay at the STEF Veterinary Centre.
