Leaving a legacy

By remembering STEF in your Will, you will be safeguarding the future welfare of elephants in Southern Thailand so that they can live long and happy lives. Our work means that elephants in need will always have food, shelter and good medical care. By leaving a gift in your Will, you will enable us to continue this work.

We invite you to join a very special group of people who will make a bequest to STEF.

How to make a bequest

There are several different types of gifts in Wills. You may choose to leave us a specific sum (pecuniary legacy), a specific non-money item (a specific legacy), or the whole, or a share of, your estate (a residual legacy). You may also wish that your legacy be applied for a specific purpose in which case we recommend that you contact us in advance.

We strongly recommend that you take legal advice when making or updating your Will. In order to make it as easy as possible for you to add STEF to the charities remembered in your Will, we have compiled some guidance notes that can be downloaded here. This has all the information you need to take to your solicitor.

Let us know

If you have already remembered STEF in your Will (or intend to do so), please consider completing a confidential Legacy Pledge Form, which you can download here, and send the completed version on email to fundraising@southernthailandelephants.org or in hard copy to:
Southern Thailand Elephant Foundation
31 Warren Avenue
Richmond upon Thames
Surrey TW10 5DZ

By telling us about your gift, you give us valuable assurance of being able to continue and expand our work, long-term. Just as importantly, it also gives us a chance to thank you properly and to keep you informed about the ongoing work at STEF.

If you would like to have a confidential discussion with a member of the team at STEF about leaving a gift in your Will, please contact fundraising@southernthailandelephants.org and we will arrange a time to call you at your convenience.
