Our Mission
Is to provide free veterinary care for elephants in Southern Thailand to improve their welfare and protect their future. The Asian elephant is an endangered species, and it is our aim to support education on elephant welfare and conservation, as well as provide hands-on veterinary care.
Since our foundation at the end of 2017. STEF has funded the construction, from scratch, of the first NGO elephant hospital in Southern Thailand. Known as the STEF Veterinary Centre, it is based at Khok Kloi, and serves the local elephant communities of the Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi and Surat Thani Provinces.
