Lisa Philpott
Lisa spent her childhood living in Africa and Asia where her passion for elephants started. Lisa has volunteered at wildlife conservation projects in both Africa and Asia, most recently taking part in a capture and relocation of four species at a Game Reserve in Zimbabwe. She has also had the privilege of naming a baby rhino in Kenya.
Lisa works as a Global Reward Manager in the corporate sector, and in 2021 completed an MSc in NGO Management with Philanthropy, Grantmaking & Social Investment, at the Centre for Charity Effectiveness, Bayes Business School. Lisa has previous Charity Trustee experience, both for a wildlife conservation charity and a local independent homeless shelter. Lisa is pleased to be combining her love of elephants with her skills and knowledge, to support STEF in their vital work.
Lisa lives in Cambridge with her husband Graham, and two cats.
