Khum Moon
Khum moon was admitted to the STEF hospital with three health issues including a nail crack, pododermatitis and colic. Originally, her owner had requested medical help for the nail crack and pododermatitis. During admission the vets noticed that she was showing signs of colic including lethargy, reduced appetite, and abnormal defaecation. Her blood results were abnormal and so Khum moon was given fluid containing potassium ions and other medication to treat gastrointestinal problems. She was monitored carefully and it wasn’t long before she was responding positively to the treatment and was discharged on 16th October 2023 after 28 days at the hospital.
